I disagree, protein intake is so overrated. As if our bodies skip over the fat ( Stored energy) and immediately burn up lean muscle if your not eating protein like a mad dog, that’s not scientific at all!

Yes you might lose a bit of muscle mass, impossible to say how much but it won’t be dramatic as long as you’re training hard.

I have tend to have alot of trouble meeting the bare minimum of 0,6 per lb, since meat and whey supplements are expensive here.

What happens if I don’t meet the requirement on most days? I still happen to excercise at least x3 per week, will I still lose mass?

Doug,
This is was meant to act as a bare minimum on what you need to know to lose fat. You could do cardio, but I don’t always recommend it since the calorie burn isn’t going to make a huge difference and doing lots of cardio doesn’t always mix well with low calorie diets.
