you cant possibly work out enough to make up for a bad diet. People that say this generally have no REAL idea how many calories they are consuming daily. Take another look at the amount of calories you are consuming and you wont need the extreme efforts. A 1 mile run burns on average 150-200 calories. 1 donut is 300. Low carb diet or not the calories are holding you up

Please read up more on research and clinical studies on long term side effects.

My experience was similar; I got into P90x after having my second baby when I didn’t have a ton of time to go to the l gym. I loved the challenge of the workouts and the changing up of exercises. I also almost never did 6-7 days a week-the beauty of the program is you can choose which workout you think you need each day and take days off as needed. My favorites were definitely legs and plyometrics but i interchanged all of them-was very happy with my progress 🙂

I have been working out for many years and know what I am doing. I am fit but I think the P90X workout does go overboard. The workouts are too long and have too much fluff to kill time. I agree that you can get a good workout in 30 minutes or less as long as you make it intense! I mean the yoga workout is 90 minutes. Who has time for that when they work 8 or 9 hours a day!!

Dude, if you are NEVER sore, then you aren’t lifting enough, not lifting long enough, or not doing the exercises properly, PERIOD. There is no recovery drink during or after is going to help you completely erase DELAYED onset muscle soreness. “Delay” being the key word lol. The process that causes muscle soreness doesn’t even start for at least 24-48 hours AFTER your muscles experience time under tension.

You and your son need to push harder, longer, and better – flat out.

Simply take a recovery drink during and right after exercising. I do it every time and I am never sore. My teenage son tried both options and he had the very same results as I did. THERE IS ZERO REASON FOR ANYONE TO BE SORE. If you exercise the proper way and if you take recover drink – you will be feeling great.

I am healthy too, got checked up.
The only way for me to lose some weight is some extreme effort like climbing 1800m mountains or P90X. Anything else and my body goes into a powersaver mode or what.
