Would it be OK to perform standing calf raises in both of the lower workouts? My gym has only got a standing calf raise machine.

12-15 is fine as long as you’re pushing near failure

For me I have a few injuries shoulder and hip and can't possibly work as heavy for a 5 rep max I have age against me but years of training for me.
What are your thoughts

Thank you

What rep range is optimal for muscle growth? Can you be specific for each muscle group? For ex: 8-10 for chest but 12-15 for arm…

Of course they will grow. This isn’t the end all be all workout. You can always add more stuff or adjust things as you advance. Running is fine, just be sure to add extra cals if your goal is to gain muscle

Thank you Keith. Is it necessary to add other exercises? If not, will the muscles still grow? Is it ok to run 30 minutes on a treadmill on a day off?
