5 Awesome Tips To Help You Skip Breakfast

Hey you wanna know something? I don’t like eating breakfast.

Up until I was about 18 years old, I ate breakfast EVERY SINGLE DAY. And why did I do such a thing?

Well… the reason was simply because I was told to do so. I was told primarily by my mom, by teachers, and by various fitness websites/magazines that breakfast was the most important meal of the day.

I was told to eat breakfast so that I could score high on my SAT exams (that didn’t work out so well). I was told to eat breakfast so that I could boost my metabolism (yeah… whatever). I was told to eat breakfast because Tony the fucking Tiger said I should (hooray for advertising).

Now listen, I’m not against people eating breakfast at all. I know there’s a group of people out there who say they absolutely need to eat something every morning and that’s cool, that’s their choice.

However, there’s another (much larger) group of people out there who only eats breakfast for the same reason I used to eat breakfast, and that’s because they’re told it’s “necessary”. These are people who probably don’t even like breakfast and only eat it because they’re told to do so by authoritative sources.

What To Eat After A Workout? Why It’s Not A Big Deal

I’m sure you’ve done it before. You go to the gym and do this crazy workout consisting of weight lifting, sprinting, and stability ball back flips. Then you rush home, open your fridge, and try to decide what to eat after a workout (hopefully something with carbs and protein).

Okay, so maybe you don’t do stability ball back flips, but I guarantee that if you’ve been working out for a while, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. I mean, I used to be just like that. I used to stress about what to eat after a workout, and would literally freak out since the only thing I had in my house was some damn soy milk.

I swear, I actually know people with cabinets that look like this

But I was a dumb little man back then. I believed everything I read online and in magazines and really believed that post workout nutrition was vital to your success.
