Joe Manganiello Workout Routine For True Blood

Note: This is a workout I wrote a few months back, but the exact same principles apply when trying to get a body like Joe Manganiello in Magic MIke. Also this is part of my Magic Mike workout series – click here to get more workouts to build a body that women love.

I must say, Joe Manganiello has a very impressive body. If I ever made a list of the most lean and ripped physiques in Hollywood, Joe would definitely be in the top ten.

His body is the type of body that most guys should strive for, really lean and defined but not overly muscular.

What’s funny is before Joe landed a role on the awesome show True Blood (you guys gotta watch it), Joe said that when he worked out, he would simply try to get as big as humanly possible. He would be working out way too much and would be eating way too many calories, which in the end just made him look more fat than muscular.

But as Alcide, Joe really leaned down and now has one of the most impressive physiques in Hollywood.

Sylvester Stallone Workout – Everything You Need To Know

Sylvester Stallone Workout Routine

Although Sylvester Stallone may be old enough to be my grandpa, but he’s still one of the most badass action stars in Hollywood. Even though the man is 65 years old, he can still kick as much ass as the next pretty boy Hollywood star, and that point was proven in 2010’s The Expendables.

But how did Sylevester Stallone keep in such great shape over the past 40+ years? Let’s take a look, shall we.

The Sylvester Stallone workout

For Rocky 3

For Rocky 3, Stallone performed one of the most grueling workout routines known to man. I mean, Stallone even admitted a couple years ago that the routine was stupid and unnecessary. For his Rocky 3 workout, Stallone would do the following every single day:

  • 20 rounds of sparring in the ring
  • 2 hours of weight lifting
  • 2 miles of jogging
  • lots of jump roping

Though the workout was intense and pretty ridiculous, Stallone arguably displayed his best physique in Rocky 3.

The Tom Hardy Workout Routine For Warrior

Tom Hardy has just recently made a name for himself in Hollywood, with roles in Inception, Warrior, and the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises. I have a feeling he’s going to be the next big Hollywood star.

Though it was just released this past weekend, Warrior is already garnering a ton of attention not only because it’s an awesome movie, but also because of Tom Hardy’s ripped MMA body. Hardy reportedbly put on 28 pounds of hard muscle for his role and it definitely shows.

But how exactly did Tom Hardy transform his body into a MMA fighter in Warrior?

Tom Hardy’s trainer Patrick Monroe, aka Pnut (yeah I don’t get it either) put Hardy through a very intense training routine to get ripped for Warrior. Not only was the routine intense, it was also a little um…. weird.
